What Tracey dislikes about Kosta's Kitchen:
We were seated promptly, and the decor created a warm and cozy atmosphere. The staff was friendly, and the service was excellent. The food was decent overall. The French toast was tasty, but the home fries were disappointing. The eggs were cooked exactly to order, and the biscuits and gravy were just okay. View all feedback.

This is your typical small diner which I usually love when the food is good. I’ve tried this place a few times, hoping my previous poor experience was a one time thing, but nope. The eggs undercooked, home fries are just big chunks of potatoes, undercooked in the middle, no seasoning or onions, etc… Sausage gravy is like a glob of something, bacon half burnt and half undercooked. I think this place caters to the senior citizen crowd so that might be the reason for the lack of seasoning. The dining room area is outdated and unclean. If you want a good breakfast, try elsewhere or cook at home.

My friend and I went for the first time today. He ordered a open face turkey sandwich, I had a ham and turkey club sandwich. The turkey was cut from a pressed roll with the skin on the end. Like a slice of bologna the turkey was the same and the ham came a pressed roll of what, with the skin on the edge. I could barely get 2 peices down. Took it home to the dog. I would never go back and don't recommend it

Great place to eat in Fletcher, NC A very nice restaurant, reminiscent of an old-time diner. There is a large parking lot so parking should not be an issue. There is an outer porch with tables that you can sit at if you have a pet. There is a sign asyou enter the porch that tells you to wait on the porch until the host/hostess comes out to seat you. We were greeted and seatedquickly. The restaurant proper has a counter and booth lining the outer wall. There was a room with additional seating in theback of the building. We were seated at a booth near the front of the main room. The distance between the table and the seat wasa little tight but the tables and the room was clean. The decor has plates displayed on shelves just below the ceiling and lotsof knick-knacks. We visited near Halloween when all the waitresses had on orange shirts with various sayings like ?BroomTrainer?. The waitress was efficient in taking our drink and food orders. We ordered two breakfasts of french toast andsomething very similar to an egg McMuffin. Both dishes came out quickly and were delicious. The cost was about $24 but was worthit for the friendly staff, delicious food, and good atmosphere. Enjoy!

Their sign says Best Breakfast in the WNC Mountains, we agree (first time here). 7 minutes from the Asheville Airport. We sat on the covered outdoor porch. Breakfast combo's were $9.50- 10.50 for our pancake combo (2 large pumpkin pancakes, eggs and a meat)and a western omelet combo (plus a side bread). Everything was delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.Open for breakfast and lunch until 3pm.
