Great meal in a known diner along Route 66. Expect Diner Art Food, that's not a bad thing! Serving sizes were good and everything tasted good. No problems finding it or parking. We expected a wait, but pleasantly surprised, right in. We had breakfast, but we didn't order a cake for which they were best known. Maybe next time! View all feedback.
What Melissa Diaz dislikes about Miz Zip's:
Out of half of the desserts, and the ones we settled for weren't fantastic, I had the crepe and my friend ordered a sundae with caramel and chocolate, which was a tiny scoop of ice cream served without caramel as it turns out they were out of that as well. Not planning a return View all feedback.
I have been visiting this place since I was a child and it has always been a local favorite for traditional dining. I still enjoy coming here and recently had a fantastic breakfast. The service was fast and the restaurant was clean. It's no longer just a bar branch, so be sure to check it out. Don't miss the chance to visit this iconic spot.
Lived in Flagstaff 30 years. My husband and I ate at Miz Zips at least once a week. Met friends there and worked daily crossword together while eating. Wonderful, homey place. Feels like it's 1950. Food is great too. Stop every time we are in Flagstaff still.
Great food! Awesome service. And really neat decor with 60s era music classic diner feel.
A small diner with a good-sized menu. The service is friendly and the food is good. Parking could be difficult if they get busy. The bathrooms are small and not really handicap accessible. The restaurant is not handicap accessible, as there are stairs just inside the front doors. There are two dining areas, one s you come in and one just to the right that's larger. The decor is eclectic but based on antiques and the past. All in all, a quiet and quaint place to get a hearty meal. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
Want somewhere not in the crowded downtown area? Come here! Right off 66 and plenty of FREE parking. Great menu, have a little something for everyone. One of the best chicken fried steaks my husband has had so far. Sorry no pictures we were so hungry and it was looking so good Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
