La Santisima Gourmet Taco Shop
Menu
The restaurant from Flagstaff offers 20 different courses and drinks on the menu for an average price of $6.5.
Bold, inventive Mexican with standout tacos and a 22-salsa bar (including peanut and sesame varieties) makes this small, well-located spot a local favorite. Dishes shine — from corn‑flour quesadillas to flavorful rice — and outdoor terrace and bar seating add charm. Service can be inconsistent, with occasional slow or incorrect orders, but for adventurous flavors, a lively college-town vibe and solid takeout options, it’s worth a stop.

Great fast friendly service. Tacos were unique and quite delicious. Nice small place with an outdoor dining terrace behind. Verry interesting salsa bar that should hold something for any kind of pallet. We will definitely go back when in the area. View all feedback.

Eat all the food! I originally wanted to eat some pub food with a friend when we saw that this joint shone like the golden church to tacos that it is. You have 22 Salsas that you can help yourself, but this is just dressing for something else amazing food. I went with the Quesadillas that went against my heart felt passion for tacos, but there was a reason. A year ago when I visited Cancun, my family held in this little restaurant and they had Queensadillas. Generally, I don't do well with flour tortillas, so Queensadillas are usually from my list. But these were made with corn flour. It was a crispy, teig-like shell with amazing fillings in it. La Santisima is the first U.S. restaurant in which I was not only the Quesadillas in the same way, but it is even better. It's a college city feeling, and there's a homeless home nearby, but these are all the improvements for me. I wouldn't call it family-friendly, but it's definitely a meeting point with friends or appointments. If I travel within a hundred miles from this restaurant, I make the way to stop by and get some tacos!
Great place. Good food w a very interesting turn. Alabada Sea La Santisima. Love the Salsa Bar and the Salsa music.
Really good authentic Mexican cuisine, the Arrachera Tacos and many Salsas on their Salsa Bar, tasteful Horchata, friendly staff
