If you must go there, then order coffee in the bar and refuse the “help” they offer to take your things to the table. Because it will make your cappuccino from 1.20€ to 4.50€ real quick. Same goes for paninis and croissants.

I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 only because of one unpleasant incident I witnessed... A lady there (I don't know if she's the owner) rudely called out a waitress, urging her to hurry up in an unkind tone. I believe respect for those who work is fundamental, but above all, certain reprimands shouldn't happen in public; they create discomfort for those who serve and those who dine. It would have been enough to say it later and in a different way. I can't stand this way of treating people, I'm sorry. It's a shame when the atmosphere of a beautiful place is ruined by a lack of empathy or professionalism towards the staff. And nothing, a hug to the waitress who was really working hard!

Friendly barista, good coffee (but lukewarm) €1.30. A small glass of mineral water is not provided. 0.50 liter bottle to go €1.50 Well stocked pastry shop window with grouped prices displayed inside. General price list well placed and legible prices seem to match those in the historic center, although there are bars that offer coffee (on sale) for €1. Central location between Via Roma and Calzaiuoli, with outdoor seating (not panoramic).
