Was doug674 at Caffe Dei Pucci a mag?
We stopped in for a cappuccino and an americano before a tour that was meeting near the Duomo and felt very welcome and enjoyed the drinks and our chocolate croissant immensely. There were a nice mix of locals drinking an espresso at the bar or having breakfast and tourists eating. View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about Caffe Dei Pucci:
Great family run cafe where everyone is welcome and can re-energize after a long day of walking. We weren’t able to try their cannolis but they looked delicious. View all feedback.

I never thought in my life I could write a negative review about ice cream. But here goes. Anyone in the area knows that there are plenty of ice cream stores around to choose from. This one does not stack up. We stopped at it as we were passing on the street, as they had a small freezer full of ice creams facing the street. Wish we had just walked to the next one! I paid €2.50 for a small cup. He told me I could only get one flavour. This is unusual given the standards in the area, but I still went with it. I asked for chocolate and got the tiniest scoop imaginable. It didn’t even fill the cup, which is quite an achievement given I picked the smallest size. The server himself was quite rude and blunt, even though I spoke to him in Italian. Ice cream wasn’t even that great anyway. Any other ice cream place on the same street or nearby would give you multiple flavours for the same price and would fill the cup until it overflowed. Keep walking past this one.

Firenze is full of fancy and deceiful places to eat, but Café del Pucci is not only authentic, but also absolutely cozy, delicious and worth visiting. Attended by his owner, Tony (such a sweet and kind host) and with the magical cousine experience by his sister, everything we tasted here felt like being at home but with the original Toscana flavour. I strongly recommend their lasagna, il petto di pollo, the carbonara, and even the pizza at night. Of course the cappuccino and the cornetti (filled with everything you could imagine, like chocolate, lemon, or even cappuccino cream) were awesome. Obviously, the best part of everything was Tony's warm soul. As an additional tip, it's located only two blocks from Santa Maria dei Fiore on a pretty quiet street. So, Grazie mille per tutto Café dei Pucci!!!

Every time I come to Florence, I make sure to come here. It’s always a highlight of my trip! The food is absolutely wonderful, full of flavor and perfectly seasoned. You can really taste the care in every dish. The service is just as impressive: warm, attentive, and truly welcoming. The woman who cooks is incredibly talented, and the gentleman is always so kind and thoughtful – they make the experience even more special. A perfect combination that keeps me coming back. Highly recommended!

We stopped to taste a typical Italian dish, very good value for money, tagliatelle with truffle and exceptional Milanese sausage, excellent and abundant, friendly and very pleasant service, pistachio tiramisu, to finish one of the best coffees and a limoncello offered by the very friendly owner. The next day for breakfast a pistachio croissant and a delicious cappuccino made by Tani, the owner who was always present. We will gladly return, highly recommended. Thanks Caffè dei Pucci
