I went in to make a reservation and the chef came out to make me great. he was a very nice guy and made my party very welcome. when we came back in this night for the reservation, he came out to translate the menu to each of us personally and to ensure that we were fully supervised. eating was incredible, not to mention! so much that we decided to come back to dinner in the next night. I had thunfischsteak and the seafood risotto.

Many restaurants are not nice to english speaking tourists but they were, so we're really thankful for that. But the food.. my pizza was clearly frozen pizza, trust me, I know. I had it with spicy meat and the meat was spicy, but it was flat, tasteless and cheap quality. It was a disappointment since the view was nice, people were nice, music wasn't too loud.. but food, for that price, a let down. My drink also had way too much alcohol in it, maybe not a problem to most but wasn't that enjoyable.. My sister had mixed salad and it also tasted like nothing so I guess only cheap materials were used to make the food. We also checked the buffet/lunch table when we went to pay, and it didn't look appetizing either. BUT! At least the prizes were not that bad, just saying that you can get so much better food in Florence with the same price.

Not very impressed. eating was good, but not good enough to justify the rather high price tag. cheese gnocchi was overwhelmingly cheesy (sounding stupid, but I... read more Not very impressed. eating was good, but not good enough to justify the rather high price tag. cheese gnocchi was overwhelmingly cheesy (sounding stupid, but I had hoped for a less strong taste! and they seemed to forget my order as my food arrived on my table 10 minutes after each other (they also had to ask what I ordered twice! . gnocchi seemed to be from a package that gnocchi from the restaurant next door was apparently much better and made seemingly home! also soft drinks are too expensive and the service was slow for everyone, but the restaurant was busy and full of tourist. some employees were harassed us because their staff gave us the wrong drinks we said they made our order wrong for which they were annoyed!
