Mama’s closed the day we arrived in Florence and would not reopen before we were winging our way home. What James K doesn't like about Mama's Bakery:
Went for lunch as I had read it was good and was just down the road from our apartment. The bagels were just ok, but worst of all, no cappuccino/flat white etc on offer. We ate quickly and went elsewhere for coffee. It has the feel of a student canteen. One of the servers was very nice, the other was really unpleasant. I certainly would not visit again. È un posto rilassante, carino lo spazio all'aperto (se non ci sono padroni dementi di cani). Buone le insalate, personale gentile, servizio informale.
