She showed us to a table and provided t... read more My wife and I ate here last night arriving at the restaurant about to be welcomed by the young waitress at the entrance. She showed us to a table and provided the drinks menu. I ordered a special beer (Costello, a deep red brown...IPA) and my wife had a gin and tonic. The waitress took the money for the drinks and food on serving the drinks We then attended the buffet in the middle room (there is another seating room right in the back). Wow! What a selection! Masses of vegetarian items, plus pizza, crostini with chicken liver pate, pasta, thinly sliced beef and pork, salads and the most delicious chicken pieces on the bone cooked in turmeric and salt. I attended the buffet twice and really ate my fill before also enjoying some fruit salad. Very nice food, if I lived locally, this place would be a regular haunt!

We were jet lagged and... read more My daughter was doing a semester abroad and suggested this restaurant. We went for aprevite on a Monday night after flying from America. We were jet lagged and sleep deprived. My daughter negotiated the seating and terms, Euros cash and only italian credit cards ..no travelx cerdit card) The gentleman seating us was abrupt and aggravated. I asked my daughter why is he acting this way? She said we are messing them up, they know we are tourist but in a residential area and they can't figure it out how we got here. I apologized to him as I explained we are having trouble making a decisions as we just fly in and tired... he responded So am I We ate and the deal was one drink with unlimited trips to the buffer for eros. After that we had the option for drinks. The waitress did not offer that to us and presented a bill and said You pay now We said sure but we are still staying to eat The offending gentleman looks like ... as my grandmother would say A tall drink of water .I do not recommend this as it caters to the neighborhood and this was just the beginning of the tourist season and Kitsch has a long summer ahead.
