We went for the oriental taster menu and it did not disappoint. We were sat at the bar, overlooking the kitchen and the chefs were so friendly, they talked us through each dish as we watched them cook, it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The food was the best Asian food we have had, each small plate was perfect. We could not fault it. This is an absolute must when in Florence. Thanks to all the team at Cibleo for a special evening

We (2 persons) had here lunch on Wednesday 25 August and we enjoyed a 5 course menu, consisting of a.o. delicious Japanese noodles with duck breast, dumplings, tiriyaki with rice and chicken. A bottle of water, a glass of very good wine and coffee is included in the menu price of 40 euro per person. Unfortunately, we had to fly back the next morning, otherwise we would visit this great small restaurant the next day again.

Although Tuscan fare is delicious, there is only so much Florentine steak and wild boar ragu you can eat in a week. Cibleo seemed like a good choice to mix it up a bit. Some in our group were not such big fans of Asian food and were skeptical about the fixed menu, but everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The owner's son was very hospitable and the Korean chef Ming Jhoo (sorry if that's wrong! was wonderful and presented each dish to us personally. Most dishes were more Asian-based, but they had unique Tuscan additions. It was delicious! One of the best dining experiences we have had in Italy. The atmosphere is sophisticated, but at the same time casual. Highly recommended!

A fantastic experience in a small and cozy Japanese-style restaurant with the option of eating directly at the counter in front of the chef. Fusion cuisine with clear Asian inspiration in both ingredients and preparation. The tasting menu is highly recommended to try as many dishes as possible and understand their style. Everything is delicious, from the gyoza to the soups, to their dessert, a soy cream caramel: exceptional. The selection of sake and dessert wines is also excellent. The staff is truly friendly and willing to explain each dish, making the dinner even more enjoyable. A pleasant note: the night I was there, I found Eleonora, winner of Masterchef 13, in the kitchen.
