Heavenly lasagna and tiara missou. Mid-way between the Duomo and the Bargelolo, it makes a convenient restaurant break. Go there. I ordered a grilled sirloin, medium, on a bed of arugula with potatoes with slices of Parmesan cheese fresh tomatoes. Cutting the meat slices with difficulty using a steak knife was indicative of how much chewing I'd be engaged in to choke down this piece of meat. Instead of celebrating a romantic dinner in the heart of the birthplace of the Renaissance we held a wake for the cow who needlessly gave his life for a meal that cost €20 total price for both meals with 2 glasses of wine €50). F... read more We stopped in for the fixed price 14,50 Euro menu after a hot day walking around Florence. We both started with the Caprese salad fresh but not very seasoned. For the main the lasagna and the gnocchi were both delicious. They were served with freshly grated parm and fresh bread. A mild blueberry cheesecake and sweet tiramisu finished off our meal. Service was quick without making us feel rushed. They did not charge us a service fee or any hidden fees for dining inside like other places. It had a comforting family feel and clean washrooms. A great choice for our lunch!!
