Our waitress was nice BUT a family arrived with a service dog and before they could get fully seated another waitress came out and began berating the gentleman with the service dog. She questioned what it was, if it had a purpose and legitimately asked this gentleman what the service dog was for.... in front of the entire dining room. 1st, that dog walked to its table crawled underneath and layed down as he was trained. 2nd, you CAN NOT ask someone what their disability is.....especially in front of the full dinning room. That is HIS private medical information. He, however, chose to inform the waitress that the dog was for his PTSD (The gentleman had veteran patches on his dog 's service vest). She then mocked him and said, yea, I 've seen that before. This is when the gentleman said we 'll leave and walked out the door without incident with his dog. His poor wife had to gather up their baby in a carrier and 2 additional kids to follow her husband out. Absolutely uncalled for. The restaurant and the waitress should be ashamed. To act in such a way of discrimination toward someone with a disability, let alone a person who served our country, is not only unlawful but absolutely horrible. Do better.
Appetizers were clearly from a box. They are known for their fish sandwiches, but I have no idea why. Simply tasteless. It's a tired place with zero atmosphere.
Terrible service and overpriced drafts. A friend and I went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We sat at the bar area and were greeted by a miserable bar tender who took our drink orders and never cared to offer menus. We eventually had to ask for menus and ordered lunch. I must admit the food was quite good. After we were done eating we received out check and the two meals were less expensive than our 16 oz draft craft beers. $9.25 for a 16oz dogfish 90 min is insane. Never again!
