absolutely shocking customer service! would not recommend that after the mouthful abuse we come down the phone from the staff! Recorded the whole call of the staff who swore to us, the phone told us after I called. to ask them to check the camera after my friends have been stolen money bags from there. shameful customer service, I work myself in cash and would never treat customers as they did last night! It's such a magical place! Everyone knows, it's like a big family. it has a charm I have never experienced. the place in the interior is rebuilt, outside seat is so comfortable that I did not want to go, there is a covered area in the fall of a rain, there are tables in the open, toilet was clean and tidy. the food was delicious, the staff so friendly and responsive. I can't wait to be back!
Our first Scottish pub experience and we loved it. we went into what seemed to be a private party, but were welcomed. as davie (from new Scottish friend) said, edinburgh is for tourist, that is really Scotland
Went down for a bar lunch with ma mate, Spaghetti Carbonara was absolutely fantastic. He had Chilli Concarne, was also excellent. As people have said, no such thing as a small portion there. Friendly staff and quiet environment, definitely be back for that Carbonara. Delicious.
Brilliant food, service and prices. At first you are surprised by the decor but the service, friendliness and the tasty food for very reasonable prices turns the experience into a fantastic one.
Really good eating too very cheap trips. it was not sure what you expected here, with mixed reviews, but we are pleasantly surprised. greeted with a red rose for us 3 ladies it was Valentine's Day), and surprised with a bowl of delicious olives and delicious garlic brot. the rest of the meal was also delicious, but served such great, we could not eat everything. in any case will return and may recommend. safe, very split, and needs a good clean in sharing, but certainly good value for money. Just try it!
