This small but exquisite Greek restaurant in the heart of Feucht is family-run and run with passion. The interior is cozy and chic, yet modern! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The food was masterful, unlike any other Greek restaurant, and for me personally, it was a taste explosion! You can tell that the food is still cooked with passion! I definitely recommend it, and please keep it up!
Five of us ate at the restaurant this evening. We were warmly greeted by the owner and shown to our table. The menu is clear and has something for everyone. We placed our drink orders and quickly made our food requests. Unfortunately, the bread served with the appetizers (mixed, wholemeal, and white was very soft and sloppy. Also not very appetizing was the owner 's unprompted delivery of additional bread and his bare hand on the plate. Even before the coronavirus pandemic, this wasn 't particularly hygienic for me and an absolute no-go. Our appetizers included tzatziki, which the menu describes as having a lot of garlic. We thought the yogurt mixture was close to a clove of garlic. The same was true of the garlic paste that accompanied the baked vegetables that two of us ordered. There was no garlic taste at all. A real shame. The vegetables were very tasty, though. The main courses were mediocre. The portions of the gyro calamari were too small in my opinion. It was two calamari with about two small handfuls of gyros, a shot glass of tzatziki, some rice, and salad. A sea bream fillet with grilled vegetables was also ordered, which was unfortunately completely oversalted. We all tried five from the plate and unanimously agreed it was seriously oversalted. My girlfriend ate as much as she could out of politeness, but when asked if everything tasted good, she was friendly but also honest and said it was too salty. The waiter was shocked and said he didn 't add salt, he only used soy and Maggi (with grilled vegetables and sea bream??? and that she should also ask other guests who had ordered the fish (of course, you go to a stranger 's table and ask . Even when three of us went outside to smoke, the waiter followed us to defend his Maggi vegetables. Unfortunately, there was no understanding, no apology, or even a question about whether we wanted a new dish. You can only pay in cash here; they don 't accept card payments. I don 't think that 's particularly good these days either. And prices are apparently flexible, too, as the menu lists gyros calamari at €15.50, and one of us paid €16.00 and the other €16.50. My friend who had the fish got a €5 discount, though. At least that. Conclusion: The quality of the food is great, but unfortunately, the taste wasn 't entirely convincing, and there were simply too many things in general, which is why we won 't be coming back.
We've always been very satisfied! We loved coming here back in the days of the Schlosswirt. However, that has completely changed since our last visit on Saturday! It was somehow completely abstract, that everything had suddenly changed for the worse! There were six of us, everyone chose a different dish, and no one at the table was satisfied with their meal! The quality and preparation were sub-par. Just a small example: The tzatziki couldn't even compete with ready-made ones from the discount store! You have to be able to do that! Somehow, the shine has gone off here; we had a table in the backyard (it used to be cozy with a Greek flair! It's now quite shabby and worn. We all couldn't understand what was going on? It's hard to believe it was a slip-up, as everyone at the table was very dissatisfied! Let's hope things change for the better...
