We were looking for a nice place where to have an aperitivo rinforzato so we decided to try Raccano based on the information in their web site and on the nice location (I know piazzetta S. Anna). It was a hot evening in mid June, all tables still outside due to Covid restriction, in the charming piazzetta S.Anna next to the splendid cloister where the entrance to the restaurant is located. Service was a little slow, but the staff was cordial though very busy, and we greatly enjoyed the mild evening in the nice outside table that the Raccano staff had prepared for us upon our reservation. We started with a couple of drinks and a selection of a-la-carte stuzzichini, and then moved on to a full bottle of Prosecco and a couple of entries from the dinner menu I enjoyed the fritto misto di pesce that my wife and I ordered, and also the burratina con alici and the pinzini con affettati that our friends chose looked delicious. For the four of us, the bill was € The dinner menu looked attractive, we are still at the beginning of the summer, and I believe we will go back for a full dinner in the piazzetta hopefully the restaurant will be able to maintain those open air tables even after the Covid measures are lifted.
We came to lunch and dinner (fortunately). The food is good, and it is in a courtyard, so it's pretty. A bit hard to find, but you just have to go to the courtyard. they have the famous pumpkin ravioli that you were good, but a bit sweet. I love the sweet fish. the fowl was a bit dry, but it is a fowl, so I mean, all birds are usually more dry than other meat. The crispy skin helped. not so found of beef, but was okay, nothing against, I just really preferred my beef very juicy.
