N... read more Lovely establishment with friendly staff. However, no guidance or explanation of the facilities was provided. Unfortunately, the premises were below standard. No hot water. Drainage blocked such that a major room flood was narrowly avoided. We were unable to shower and the toilet had no top lid cover. On discussing this matter with the owner we were left feeling very disappointed and used. He refused to make any adjustments or allowances to compensate for the situation we were forced to endure. I would definitely NOT recommend this establishment as a place to stay.

The bar was cozy and bustling on a Saturday night and even though our 3 year old was with us she was made a part of the evening by the bar staff. The breakfast was 10/10 the lovely ladies were attentive and we couldn’t ask for more. Don’t overlook this little gem.

We enjoyed drinks until closing time and had wonderful and insightful conversations. The playful banter and teasing among the group was fantastic. The local atmosphere was great!

This... read more My husband and I wanted a weekend getaway to relax, so we chose to stay at the Fiddlestone Bar Guest House, where we had stayed before for just one night. This time, we decided to stay for the whole weekend and had a wonderful experience. The accommodation was excellent, the customer service was top-notch, and there was the added bonus of a charming bar downstairs. We highly recommend the Fiddlestone Bar Guest House for its reasonable prices and the lovely team led by Cormac. It truly felt like a home away from home.
