What rxc402 doesn't like about The Black Cat Cove:
Me and my partner visited in July, quite an average bar but with a nice atmosphere, thanks to friendly staff, especially our waitress (I think Anne? With an English accent). We shared some food, wings were good fish and chips was average. Lock on both ladies toilets was broken, which was a bit uncomfortable View all feedback.
We ate here over the two nights we stayed at the Dulrush Fishing Lodge, it was recommended to us by the owners who own the pub but have leased out the kitchen. The food was spectacular, and i am hard to please, i ordered the beef which melted in your mouth and the desserts were so unique and to die for, cannot wait to return, very reasonably priced and fabulous a talented chef ive heard.
My family of seven had Sunday lunch at this restaurant and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food. It was great value as well. I highly recommend a visit.
My two companions and I had dinner at this restaurant one night while on a boat trip. Each of us ordered a different dish and we all enjoyed our meals. The restaurant is a classic Irish pub with no spectacular views, but the food is delicious. The staff were welcoming and attentive. It's a great spot for a satisfying meal.
This was our first visit to this restaurant and we were greeted by friendly staff. We ordered the roast beef with mashed potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, vegetables, and gravy. We really enjoyed our meals; the portions were generous and we would definitely recommend this place. Although we didn't have any starters or desserts, we plan on returning the next time we are in beautiful Belleek.
Probably the best Tuesday night I have spent in a while. This lovely family owned pub and restaurant is exactly as it should be….you’ll feel very welcome and well looked after. I had goats cheese to start which was delicious followed by the special of trout with white wine sauce and boxy style potatoes which was perfectly cooked. It was busy and had a lovely atmosphere, from locals, couples on staycation to visiting French fishing enthusiasts staying at Dulrush Fishing Lodge only a short taxi ride away. Well done
