This is my favourite place to have lunch because it is delicious and great value. My favourite dishes are the udon noodles with chicken katsu and the sushi and sashimi boat. Staff here are also lovely.
Yachiyo Japanese Bistro, Darlinghurst<br/ <br/ <br/ First time visiting Yachiyo Japanese Bistro, located in Darlinghurst near King Cross Station.<br/ <br/ Excellent choice of food, great umami and originality from each dish. The chef is Japanese origin knowing the proper technique knowing how to serve each dish. <br/ <br/ Their signature Scallop Gyoza is a must try!<br/ <br/ The service is a bit slow due to small team, perfect place for dates, after work family diner.<br/ However at the end of the service the head chef gave me free dessert (crunchy matcha) as a apologize. Overall: <br/ <br/ Name of each dish on the photo<br/ Scallop on crunchy seaweed<br/ Kingfish yuzu carpaccio <br/ Salmon belly skewer<br/ Wagyu tataki<br/ Scallop gyoza<br/ Crunchy matcha bonus <br/ <br/ Spend $66 for these dishes<br/ <br/ <br/ Rating time!<br/ (As for the review I give 1-7 based on my judgment)<br/ <br/ Food: <br/ Price: <br/ Service: <br/ Ambience:<br/ Waiting time: <br/ <br/ Overall: <br/ <br/ #sydney #sydneyfood #Japanesefood
The food and service were both great. Really rate this place. The ambience was on point with a dimly lit cosy restaurant. We had everything from sushi to miso grilled pork. Highlights was the fresh tuna and salmon Toro, cauliflower bites and the rockmelon mochi.Service was lovely, she was attentive and took care of us.Overall great experience, will definitely be back.

Their sashimi was so damn fresh that they had a hint of sweetness to them! The sushi boat was $23 dollars accompanied by agashi tofu, steamed egg and miso soup. Would definately recommend :
