Excellent asian food with complex flavour combinations that work so well. I had the tasting menu and enjoyed every mouthful. I went back the next night to repeat the pleasure. View all feedback.
Excellent food with interesting flavours. Starters better than mains but all very good. Service a little bit lacklustre and needs work.BYO a big advantage which compensates for the high prices. Casual experience
Salaryman has been on my priority restaurants-to-try list since it first opened early December last year. But the right opportunity never came up. What I mean by “right opportunity” is finding someone as excited as me to eat crazy Japanese-y food. So when GG says yes very enthusiastically to my restaurant suggestion, I book it within the next minute.
Exceptional, fresh, interesting, inventive, innovative, creative and delicious dishes. Cannot recommend highly enough! Lovely dining experience. Will return. Fresh and crisp!

Exceptional. Sunrise Asian is delicious, honey, elegant, and creative. Nothing you've seen before in Thai cooking, or in modern Australian food. The chef and owner uses specialty Thai and native Australian herbs. Blue swimmer crab with finger lime on wasabi leaf, prawn dumplings with saltbush and butterfly pea, kingfish sashimi with flowering garlic, barramundi curry to die for, new snapper curry dressed with a million little textures that are new to the palate and the eyes. This place should be packed every night. It is that rare, that special, *that* good. Take-away available. Lunch time offerings are a bit more casual. Grocery section has all the rare ingredients they use: leaves, herbs, flowers, salad dressing, even their caramel sauce and passionfruit curd.
