I can never go past this restaurant when we go to Kingsford. I am always tempted to try other restaurants in the neighbourhood but I am always drawn to this place. Fast service, we were last in and out in 30mins! The menu and pricing have remained the same for years and we always go for a pizza and the lobster pasta, as well as the scallop rice. As EX REGULARS with previous owners delicious italian food we decided to give reopening a go .What a disappointment, firstly to name it Giovanni Trattoria Pizzeria Bar is sneaky in itself , we all think a chip off the old block but have no fear it does not come close.Maybe they should find Jimmy the ex Pizza chef give him a job.Sorry but we will not be back View all feedback.
Love this place!! Such good, authentic Italian. Great pricing and very generous servings. Customer service is always amazing and very friendly staff members. Atmosphere is great and food is always delicious
New management, but the food is still really great. Such a shame this business ran into COVID. Terrible timing. Hope it flourishes as I’d really like to make this a regular once more!

This place is really great at setting a fine dining italian ambience (especially in kingsford) with the opera music playing in the background as you feast on the carbs. This place has great food for a reasonable price and a great place to have dinner and meet up with friends. There is nice chattering in the background of other customers eating but not too loud so a conversation is easily held. The wait staff are extremely hospitable showing many years in the industry. Extremely satisfied and will be coming back. <br/ <br/ Notes about the food:<br/ The pizza and lasagna and garlic bread that I had seemed home made which is always a plus as some resturants often buy frozen products. The tomato sauce was not over the top as some italian restaurants always do it.
Good food, great value, authentic and excellent service. Wine selection is not bad but **** good value! Duck was very tasty and high recommended.
