Our server was qu... read more Manawatu offers a fantastic variety of restaurants and cafes, and we had a delightful experience at Essence in the welcoming town of Feilding. Our server was quick, and our drinks arrived promptly, allowing us to enjoy a nice chat before we placed our lunch orders. I had a delicious bacon and chicken sandwich with chips, while my wife opted for the beef burger. Remarkably, all of our meals arrived simultaneously. Despite being seated near a large group, we could converse easily without raising our voices. The interior of the restaurant was charming as well. Our waitress even went above and beyond by running after us when I accidentally left behind a gift of honey for a friend. We would be happy to return in the future. The wait staff were awesome and the chef asked if we wanted mushroom sauce with our meals. The sauce was killer tasty. Happy to highly recommend this place.
