Incoming to the book for 65 years. Always a great place to go. We all have days off at times, and some of these reviews are unfair. I think the prices are extremely reasonable and everyone is always so very very nice. But I was very disappointed in thedining room when I was there for lunch last week. The porch that they put on, I hope will be different when I go again. We hadto have our table changed because of the light coming in from that porch was blinding. It was if someone had flashlights in myface. Of course we asked to be moved and of course we were moved without any question and had a very lovely lunch. But I do sohope that awnings of some kind are put onto that glass porch before I come back again. That kind of light makes the lovelydining room that I’ve known for years like a funeral parlor. I believe awnings on the outside of the porch would do the trickand put the dining room back to the same atmosphere it had before.

We had reservations for a family holiday gathering, and the atmosphere was lovely! However, the service was slightly slow, and a few family members received the wrong dishes. Additionally, some meals took longer to arrive than others. I was mistakenly charged for a cup of hot tea that I didn't order; I had only requested hot water since I brought my own tea bag. They also don’t offer a military discount. On a positive note, the hostess was kind enough to have a server take a family photo, which we really appreciated.

We hosted our gathering in the Betsy Ross room, which was ideal for 30 people. The food was very fresh, but I did find it somewhat bland and lacking in seasoning. This was surprising, as it didn't align with their usual flavor standards, especially considering the higher price per plate. Additionally, we were charged an extra $100 for a soda bar that I hadn't requested, which no one ended up using. However, given how accommodating the staff were, I decided not to raise an issue about it, and overall, we were very happy with everything. It was a fantastic event, and I want to thank everyone involved! I will definitely consider hosting another event here in the future.

I had a fantastic experience with the Thanksgiving dinner takeout! I've been ordering from here for several years, and it never disappoints. The turkey was exceptionally delicious, along with all the side dishes. Everything was hot and fresh when I picked it up. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. We enjoyed our Thanksgiving dinner for two without any preparation or cleanup involved. The Buck Hotel takeout restaurant is simply the best in Bucks County! A huge shoutout to the chef and staff!

Good food, atmosphere and music. Waitresses and servers are friendly. Great views of neighborhood from upper deck and the Bathrooms are respectably clean for the amount of guests. The Buck Hotel is frequently visited by locals as a destination spotfor a good evening out. Several bars on the premises too. There is a sizable dance floor when you feel the need to do your“Elaine” dance. There are parts of the establishment sectioned off from visitors the wooden steps. Can’t wait to see /explore this area of the restaurant. Historical Record: The Buck Hotel has been a community landmark since 1735.
