On Fridays they have great catfish, and it's so fun to go with a big group and get a home style meal. I don't like fried chicken usually, but I like it here. And the<br/ potatoes and home fries are delicious. Plus the pies! And it's so cool to eat in a place where Abe Lincoln once was.

Went here for a friends birthday party a couple years back experience was so-so. I didn 't order because I wasn 't very hungry, but when the food came it smelled so good I got hungry fast! I ate off a friends plate and was charged at the end of the meal. Not a big deal, I ate, so I will pay. Understandable. Fried chicken was delicious, as well as rolls and corn. Great homestyle food like my grandma makes. But when it came time to pay, half of us had debit cards that we weren 't allowed to use. There were so signs posted so we had no idea it was 'cash or check only '. Really?! Checks? No restaurants around here take checks anymore. They need to be dragged into the 21st century, a cash only restaurant isn 't as charming as they think.
