4.5/5 overallGreat food and experience. The pupusa were they best I had in years will have to try more in the area but definitely top 3. The slaw it came with was fresh and delicious.Tacos were also amazing, the meet was tender and generous, balanced well with fresh veggies and lime.Nachos and chip were also yummy and a nice serving size.Kids tenders were light yet crispy, plenty of fries! No greasy mess good ol meal.Additionally they have several sodas and juices we had the passion fruit and it was sweat, fruity and refreshing.
What Esther G doesn't like about El Salvador:
I'm honestly not sure what Salvadoran cuisine is, but what we were served was not very good. The chicken tacos were ok but contained bones. The yuca con carne frita was hard as a rock, the cheese puposa was good but nothing that I would return for.. overall we just ate what we could and left. View all feedback.
This place I tried .. never again .. Chicken was dry and tuff like it was microwaved. The so called shrimp was weird looking tasted like a big glob of rubber.. I ordered nachos requested pico guacamole ... Got plain ol Nacho's barely covered in cheese. That tasted like umm I don't even know had a metal taste to it... So I assume can cheese. The Puspa was just weird .. no particular taste to it. Totally do not suggest this place.
I come here and get a Honduran typical plate called baleada I end up getting a Walmart Flour tortilla and get told by the server that the owner doesn’t like getting returns ? Really this place is terrible !
Nice people, the food is really good! If you ever look for Salvadoran food this is a very good place to feel that tasty Salvadoran food! I was so surprised on how much those pupusas reminded me of my country, thank you.
A friend recommended this restaurant and we all went for lunch. Everyone got something different and we all enjoyed tlwhat we received. I had the chicken torta and it was one of the best tortas I've ever had. While it's not fine dining, it was comfortable and the food is awesome. I highly recommend.
The pupusas here are great (especially with the cabbage! I also love the fried yuca with pork. It reminds me of all the Latin American food that I would eat in the New York. The restaurant is small but has a nice vibe and is clean. If you take pupusas to go make sure to warm them up in the oven! I also love the lime and salt provided with the yuca and pork.
