Cumberland Coffee Roasters - Hope Mills

This is the first local coffee shop we visited and we have really enjoyed it so far! The place is hidden away from the street and doesn't look like your typical coffee shop at first. There are several seating areas that are open but also offer some separation from other parties. The walls are decorated with cute characters and displays, including a section for local small business visit cards. The coffee is very flavorful, which I appreciate. They offer milk substitutions like almond, soy, and oat milk. You can order one of their selected taste combinations or request your own. They even offer an extra-large size, which is perfect for those days when you need a little extra caffeine. The staff is very friendly and sociable. They seem excited to help with anything you need and take the time to remember their regular customers (I didn't experience this firsthand, but saw it with other customers). They also have a rewards card that gives you a free drink every tenth purchase.

I have been coming to this restaurant in Hope Mills with my partner for a few years now. The coffee is always delicious, never disappoints. It is probably the best coffee in town.

This restaurant is overpriced and the smoothies are very diluted. The coffee always has a burnt taste. It's better to make your own drinks at home or go to the neighboring cafe for better quality.

These people are so kind and patient. They’ll make your drink quickly and exactly how you want it. I’ve only had good experiences here. You won’t regret stopping by!

A gem in Hope Mills that serves awesome options over the chain coffee establishments. They roast their own brews and will even give you samples to try. If you ever wanted to hang out with friends at Central Perk (from the TV show) go no further than CCR.
