We were a crew of 7 on a 4 hour stopover and wanted to make the most of the little time we had so went to Pedras for lunch. Very fresh, tasty food; enormous delicious desserts. Main, dessert, drink (could have been glass of wine or beer but we were on duty so just colas) and coffee €8.50 each. Great service and atmosphere.

James had surf and tu... read more We found this by mistake and went back 4 times for the amazing food. We had 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 bottles of wine and coffee for 72Euros. James had surf and turf- biggest fillet steak we've seen for a while! I had chicken which was delicious and the best tempura prawns ever. Service superb and food excellent. we met fellow travellers who had eaten there every night for a week...can't get a much better recommendation than that. The restaurant had half priced lunches daily but we did not partake as we had found a Brazilian café which we loved but I am certain the food quality would be excellent at lunch too. If you go to faro you MUST seek out Pedra's and have a meal.
