The salsa was a little too spicy but that’s just to me. Everyone has different spice levels. Seasoned beef taco was good. I felt chicken and rice needed more seasoning. The beans were very good. Overall, I ate all of my food and will be back. There are other things on the menu and staff is laid back and polite. View all feedback.
What James Baker doesn't like about Taco Cielo Farmers Branch:
Definitely don't go for the steak tacos. I don't know what kind of meat it was but it was dry, chewy, and spit a couple little pieces out. I went at lunch thinking it'd be fresh and was proven otherwise. The rice and beans were okay, but even the salsa choices are mild or super spicy. The verde was the medium type salsa but I'm not a huge verde person myself. Will not be going back here. View all feedback.

I would not suggest this place to anyone and will not be trying it again. I placed an order online and arrived promptly (if not early) to pick it up. The first employee I spoke to said there was no order. The second employee said that order had already been given to someone else. After that, he said I was lying and that the order was not his problem. This was after I showed both employees on my phone in the order portal. He even said i could cancel it through the portal, which was not true. No address was given, so this was not a mistake of delivery via third party. I ordered online and was called a liar, that I would not receive a refund, and that it was not their problem (and was told this multiple times). The employee even called their manager to complain about my simple request for a refund. There are worse truths about my experience, but I will reserve this for the feedback form.I have signed spoken to the manager. He was apologetic and hopefully can find solutions to avoid these issues in the future, but I will not be returning.
Excellent fresh salsas, guacamole and good tortillas. The shrimp and fish tacos are fabulous.Kid-friendliness: Comfortable clean space with plenty of seating, good for kids and families.
Good luck if Parish has a football game. You're getting towed by the inside racket they have going. Trucks came by and started towing every vehicle in the lot without knowing if they were there for the game or restaurants
I love trying out new taco places, and I was excited to find Taco Cielo close to my work. I popped in for dinner after getting off work one day, and was surprised to see the place was pretty much empty. I went ahead and ordered, getting 3 tacos with rice and beans. I got ground beef, al pastor, and barbacoa along with rice, beans, and chips with queso. The service was just ok, the person at the counter was not really interested in explaining anything or offering suggestions. The food came out fairly quickly, maybe 15 minutes, and it was all pretty good, but not great. The chips were a little chewy, almost stale, and the tacos, while tasty, were absolutely swimming in grease. So much grease that they were actually hard to eat because the tortilla was falling apart, and you couldn't put them back on the plate because of the pool of grease were the tacos were. The beans were actually super tasty, but sadly I'm not going to a taco place just because they had good beans, you know? The salsas were pretty good, but very, very spicy! I am hispanic, and I love me some heat, but I was reaching for the water quite a bit with the salsa. So, just be aware of the spice level there. Overall, just an average taco joint, but the price point was high for what you got. It was $16 plus tax for my meal, and I got water to drink. I probably won't be back, but I certainly wouldn't discourage anyone from trying them out.
