Was Clay Caldwell at Marlin's Express a mag?
I give this place 5 stars because the ham and cheddar cheese sandwich I had was comparable to one I would make at home. The bread was fresh and moist, with plenty of quality meat that filled the entire sandwich. This is by far the best airport sandwich I've ever experienced! Kudos to Marlin!! View all feedback.

What User dislikes about Marlin's Express:
This restaurant is conveniently located next to the TSA security entrance for the gates. However, I recommend grabbing a Starbucks or Caribou coffee beforehand, as the coffee here is quite poor. Like many Americans, I'm getting back into the groove of traveling for work by plane. I know that airports are often known for poor customer service, but this place takes the prize. I sat at the bar for 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. It wouldn’t have been such a big deal if they were busy, but that wasn’t the case—I was the only person there.

The food surpassed my expectations. The quesadilla and chicken wrap were both fresh and served promptly. The woman who brought out the food was extremely friendly. Overall, it was a much better experience than the food available after the security checkpoint. I didn't visit the bar, though.

If you don't have at least 1.5 hours to spare, I recommend against ordering from this place. We've visited three times, and we're finished trying. The service is excruciatingly slow and rather rude. The food is decent, but it's not worth the lengthy wait or the frustration it brings.
