Advised to come reasonably early as very popular and certain dishes can run out. Staff are friendly and I enjoy the atmosphere. Close to Portchester Castle and on the main high street, very pretty village. Well worth a visit. Service: 5 Location: 5

The dinner we got was cheap tasting, flavour... read more We were expecting something special, the place looked welcoming and the price was high for a roast dinner in a pub. The dinner we got was cheap tasting, flavourless, small and I felt robbed. No one asked if our food was ok, probably because they knew it wasn't. I definitely wont be eating in there again. They badly need a new chef or to reduce the price of their food considerably.
