While there aren't many vegan options available, the staff is friendly and willing to accommodate requests for modifications.
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant, especially with their breakfast menu. The view is stunning, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The food is delicious, and the service is excellent. The decor adds to the overall charm of the place. It can get quite busy any day of the week, particularly on weekends, but I usually found a table within a few minutes. Additionally, there are outdoor seating options, and dogs are welcome inside, which is a nice touch!
This is a lovely place to visit, just a pleasant walk from Portchester Castle. It has been around for years and is always enjoyable. I would appreciate it if they could add a dedicated vegan section to the menu. Many items from the main menu can be made vegetarian upon request, and the staff are always willing to accommodate that. They also host special vegan event nights, which can be quite pricey but offer a more upscale dining experience. The café menu is fully illustrated, and I believe the prices are reasonable. Additionally, they offer many cakes not listed on the menu, although the last time I visited, there was only one vegan option, a folding jack.
The women working first thing on Thursday 30/10 were absolutely fantastic, friendly, welcoming and attentive even though it was busy. Made for a lovely breakfast. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £10–20
A bit pricey but the cafe is lovely, delicious food and sea views make this a wonderful little spot for a treat. The toilets aren’t so nice sadly as shared access with marina and didn’t seem particularly clean. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £10–20
