I'm giving this restaurant just one star for customer service, even though the staff was very friendly. The issue arose when I ordered a six-inch sub. The worker cut off about 1.5 inches from the bread. I was puzzled as to why that was necessary—I would have happily eaten it! The staff member claimed they couldn't give me the extra bread because it could get them in trouble. This made me wonder what they intended to do with it—just throw it away? They didn't explain, but it seemed like they were on their break and eating some of the leftovers. It felt unfair that they couldn't give a paying customer the extra bread, but could keep it for themselves. That said, my sub was delicious.

The service here is painfully slow. I only stop by during road trips because it's close to my house. It feels like there are never any customers, yet it takes at least 15 minutes to get a sub. During my last visit, I was stuck behind a vehicle at the drive-thru speaker for 15 minutes without even being able to place my order, so I ended up driving away. Today, I decided to place an online order to avoid the wait. I received a notification that my food was ready, but when my spouse went to pick up our subs, we were told they hadn't even started making them yet. As I write this, it's been 10 minutes, and we still don't have our food. The parking lot is empty, and there are no cars in the drive-thru. They really need to hire more staff or reconsider the ones they currently have.
