Was Mark Petersen at Nordic Fish a mag?
My dad and I had an amazing lunch at Nordic fish. We both had the fish and chips... The batter was light, almost like tempura so you actually taste the perfectly cooked fresh fish.The fries were equally good.We had an early lunch and chatted with the manager who is passionate about seafood. We also tried a pate made from red snapper and I think haddock. Delicious. View all feedback.

The sushi here is consistently excellent, but during my recent visit, I ordered the whole belly clams as per the menu. What I received looked more like leftover clam strips with mostly fried batter and very little actual clam. This is the epitome of an excellent local business. Staff members, on more than one occasion, have recommended new fish, new recipes, and offered detailed information about where and when the fish was caught. The service here is outstanding, the qualityof the fish is top notch, and the prices are always fair. If you are considering any other place for fresh fish reconsider this is the place to go.
I purchased a whole Black Sea bass and it turned out to be quite the cooking lesson for us. They cleaned the fish beautifully and offered great advice on how to prepare it. The result was fantastic—definitely the best fish I've had in a long time. Thank you!

Additionally, the fish and chips were disappointing, tasting heavily of fryer oil, and the lobster roll was both soggy and chewy. This is the first time in 25 visits that I've experienced such issues. I usually stick to the sushi, which is fantastic. I hope they don't let this happen again!
