Centro - Fairfield

Amazing service, exceeded expectations. excellent food and wine. I wish I had a restaurant that is as good as this place in branford.

Service was very slow. Too few waitresses for the number of tables. We had a party of 11 couldn’t find the waitress at times to order. Kids were going nuts asking for food. They asked if we wanted bread we said yes. When the bill came there was a $6.00 charge. I have never been charged for bread at any restaurant in Europe or America. They charge $3.00 for each small soda with no free refills so two small sodas were $6.00 for one person. I think that’s petty. I told the waitress we had two family members birthdays. They came out with one little brownie and forgot the other then changed $20.00 for both. Food was good, small portions.

This place is a joke!!If I could rate 0 stars I wouldWait staff should all be fired they are disrespectful and nasty!!For a party of 9 people our apps and food were out at the same and had us OUT of the restaurant in an hourPitifulAs for food… I won’t even go there

This is definitely a nice place to get lunch or dinner. Food and desserts are really good. My favorite thing that I have ever eaten here I believe was a seasonal dish. It was a pasta dish with a pumpkin glaze or sauce, and it was amazing. I really enjoyed the chicken marsala, I just wish that it had just a pinch more seasoning. Otherwise it was a good vibe and nice place.

Returned to Centro to disappoint. Maybe they had an extraordinary bad night, but I won’t be going back anytime soon. Things started out fine, wine presents in chiller. But food order was 45 min to the table. Other tables came, ate, left. Server said they had had many takeout orders that backed up the kitchen. Such a bad excuse. But maybe that was the case bc the place wasn’t that full, and they had plenty of wait staff for a Saturday night. When food did arrive, all 4 entrees were cool and marginal quality. Even easy stuff like salmon over salad was a fail. Centro had been my go to spot in central Fairfield town center. But there are many other places to try before going back.
