Shishkabob Express - Fairfax

We have not tried their regular menu items but took out the family platters for catering needs. Best portions for serving to guests and kabab tastes great too!

Went there to have lunch. Buffet has a lot of items, currys, kabobs, salads and dessert. The price for lunch is a little high. The food was warm, but while I was there beef kubideh was finished and they did not add any more. At least during the time I was there. There bread is not freshly made naan that is usually available in kabob restaurants, it was in fact pita bread. The place was clean, staff was good, food was ok, I only tried kabobs and a dessert, not sure about the currys. But I think overall it is ok place. For Lunch time, their price is on the high side. Not sure if I would recommend or not.

Food was surprisingly good. Price at $17 (includes taxes) Monday Saturday is very reasonable. Wonderful people working there. Just wished they had better plates and utensils, but I understand having the styrofoam plates and plastic utensils in this Post Pandemic time.Food: 5/5

I recently found out about shishkabob Express. I have to say this place has surpassed my expectations. They offer a buffet, one of the best I've had yet to try. I live in the Alexandria/Springfield area, and I've been to several places that are similar, but nothing can compare to shishkabob express, most other places only offer a stew like chicken. Shishkabob Express actually has chicken kabobs, and my most favorite, BEEF kabobs, along with other great dishes. The restaurant is very well kept and clean. The price and quality of the food make this an even better deal!! ?Vegetarian options: They have a great variety of vegetarian foods for the buffet, all well labeled and organized. Also, it is kept separate from the meat items.
