What User doesn't like about Peet's Coffee And Tea:
Peet?s are almost everywhere. It?s almost like Starbucks in that I feel like I see them all the time. Obviously they aren?t quite to the bux level but hopefully you get what I?m saying. So albeit, we saw a Peet?s nearby again, and wanted a coffee and snack to take to the pool with us, and since neither of us had tried it we thought to have a go. I liked the atmosphere, but the product wasn?t quite as successful. My c... View all feedback.
This is a lovely coffee shop! I'm not much of a coffee drinker, but I was pleased to find they serve delicious tea instead.
I enjoyed the atmosphere, but unfortunately, the products didn't quite meet my expectations. My chai latte was decent—it was warm but not hot, and it did the trick. However, I’ve definitely had better lattes elsewhere; this one was rather plain and almost a bit watered down. My cinnamon scone was similarly unremarkable. It tasted good, but again, it was just average and nothing to get excited about.
The food arrived quickly, especially since this was my first experience with DoorDash and dining at Peet's! The sandwiches and coffee were hot and delicious. I will definitely order again!
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. An employee started calling people to leave at 5:45 PM, telling everyone they needed to exit because the place was closing in just 15 minutes. He was even standing by the door, staring at me, waiting for me to close my laptop and leave. It was only 6:00 PM—there was no need to rush us out like that. I've worked in hospitality and understand the importance of respecting customers. Just because the staff wanted to leave earlier doesn't give them the right to treat patrons dismissively. Very poor customer service.
I visited this Peet's location on a Saturday evening around 7 PM. It’s tucked away in one of the corners of Fairfax Corner Mall. Just to be upfront, I prefer Peet's coffee over Starbucks, and I generally enjoy the atmosphere of their cafés more. I’m a coffee lover and usually drink it black; I’m not a big fan of lattes. My usual choices are mochas, cappuccinos, or just plain coffee with some sugar. On this visit, I had a Havana Cappuccino, which is made with espresso and condensed milk, and I also picked up a Harvest Honey Latte for my partner. Both drinks were delightful, and they kindly upgraded my drinks to large sizes, probably because they ran out of medium cups. The best part about this location is the overall ambiance, especially this time of year; it has a cozy, wintry inn vibe that just needs a fireplace. Currently, there are holiday lights strung in the trees along the sidewalk, adding to the warm, romantic holiday atmosphere.
