Hangry Joe’s Hot Chicken - Fairfax

My friends and I decided to try a sandwich combo and one of the special items on the menu at this restaurant. We were not able to finish everything in one sitting but everything was delicious. The sandwich was large and the meat was crispy, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The Korean nuggets were also larger than the standard nugget size, crispy, and tasty. The sauce served with the fries (I believe it's their signature sauce) was also very good. Overall, the food was very tasty with a mix of savory and sweet flavors. We will definitely come back in the future. The lady working at the counter was also very polite and sweet.

We decided to have dinner at Hangry Joe's. The restaurant was a bit crowded, but we managed to order their popular Nashville chicken sandwich (medium spicy), Korean chicken nuggets (regular), and waffle fries. It took about half an hour for our food to arrive due to the crowd, but it was well worth the wait. The Korean nuggets had a deliciously sweet flavor, while the chicken sandwich was large and incredibly tasty. The level of spiciness was just right for me, and the waffle fries were also quite good. The portion sizes for each dish were generous, and I was excited to learn that the restaurant is halal. I highly recommend Hangry Joe's and will definitely be returning in the future.

To be honest, some of the best chickens I've ever had, their Korean chickens and classic chickens were my favorites. the chicken is super crispy, the sauces are so good and the fries are perfectly crispy. not to mention the owners are some of the sweetest people and always make them welcome. highly recommended!

Finally, I decided to try this restaurant. I started off with a sandwich that could easily be a meal in itself. I opted for the combo, and the sandwich was quite filling. It was packed with shiny, crispy cucumber pickles that reminded me more of gherkins than traditional pickles. The juice from the pickles added a nice flavor to the sandwich, perfectly balancing the heat. I have been to a similar place called Hangry Joe's before, and I found the heat level at this restaurant to be a bit milder. I tried the second level of spiciness, which I forgot the name of. The gentleman at the counter gave me a cup of mild sauce to dip my bun in, which was okay. However, the heat didn't really kick in until the spiciest option, level 4. I think it may have been because I dipped my bun in the sauce rather than having it cooked with the spices, which could have made a difference. The fries were perfectly crispy, just how I like them. Overall, I would definitely eat here again, perhaps just sticking to the sandwich since it was quite filling. Give the hot flavors a try!

Stopped by for a late lunch here last week and picked up a to go order for my partner on my way home. Food came out hot and the serving size was huge! Great fries. It was a bit greasy for me but I mean it’s fried food so that’s to be expected. Cashier was very nice. I got the sando combo and tenders combo mild per his recommendations. Give more sauce on the side is my only complaint.
