Coffee and food are great! Ordered the cuban sandwich and the guava chicken sandwich, in 2 different occasions, both very good and savory. The croquetas (tried chicken and Mac& cheese) were also flavory. View all feedback.
What Glenn Montoya doesn't like about Colada Shop:
First time there. I grow up in Miami with Cubans, cafecito, cortadito, colada and café cubano pretty much all my life but this place Colada chop it has the most horrible taste for cortadito. I was very disappointed . Not the place to go for a coffee if you are Cuban or grow up with Cubans. View all feedback.

Waited for 30 minutes for some beef pastelitos. They either forgot about our order or the cashier did not enter it properly. We had to ask about our order after noticing other people walking in, ordering and getting their food quickly. Just bad service. When we finally got our pastries, they were cold. Not even warmed up. The girl literally just threw them in the bag and handed it to us. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible.
We stopped here for a quick bite after shopping at Bloomingdale’s and were so happy we did. The beef empanada, chicken empanada and spinach empanada were all delicious. The service was very quick and the space was clean with a good vibe.
Had one of the worst cafe experiences I can recall at Colada. I was with my wife, and we ordered a Churro Cafe con Lèche at 12:35pm. We also ordered some food. 10 minutes later, they bring out a plate with chorizo on it (and another plate with the food order). I ask the waiter “do you know where the cafe con lèche is?” And he responds “they’re working on it”.So I wait. And wait. And wait.20minutes later, my wife goes to the counter to inquire on the cafe con lèche. workers says sorry it’ll be right out.10 more minutes. No coffee. We leave at 1:15pm. Time and money wastedWe understand it was a very busy day, but we had multiple interactions with staff to get the order. Dozens of other orders came and were fulfilled in the time we were sitting at the counter.
