This place is a gem and I wish I found it sooner. Beer was good. Vibes were good. Food was good. The staff was nice also. There were people working, studying, playing board games, and catching up with friends. Really great brewery in Northern Virginia, which is definitely hard to come by in the area. It's like Charlottesville vibes in Nova, which is a big complement View all feedback.
What Austin G doesn't like about Caboose Commons:
Caboose Commons is a massive space in the Mosaic District that's open throughout the day. During the morning and day, it's a cafe and a three-level work space with free wifi. They serve breakfast, coffee and beer. After meeting a friend for a Wednesday morning breakfast, here's my experience: 1) Food: I ordered the scrambled eggs with mushrooms on bread and it was so bland. They gave me hot sauce, but it still tasted... View all feedback.
I recently visited a local brewery and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of their beer and the overall atmosphere of the place. The brewery had a wide selection of beers on tap, including several seasonal and limited edition options. The beer was exceptional, with a rich, complex flavor and a smooth finish. I appreciated that the brewery offered a variety of beer styles, from hoppy IPAs to malty stouts, which catered to a range of tastes. Aside from the beer, the atmosphere of the brewery was also noteworthy. It had a laid-back and inviting vibe, with plenty of seating options and a cozy, rustic decor. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and provided excellent recommendations based on my preferences.
What a fantastic spot for a casual meal or a night out with friends. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. The decor is rustic and charming. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. I highly recommend their Commons Nachos corn tortilla chips, pickled onions, pickled jalapenos, cheese sauce, scallions, radishes, tomatoes. The beer selection is also impressive, with a variety of local brews on tap. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the service is generally quick and efficient. The only downside is that the restaurant can get quite crowded and noisy during peak hours, so it's not always the best spot for a quiet conversation. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food and service, and there are often specials and happy hour deals available. Free parking available across the street.
Very much enjoyed everything served here. The experience starts by using your phone to order and everything comes to you in record time. I liked the bowl I ordered and nachos. We had a great time
This is a very interesting place. I stopped there for happy hour with some friends. To me, it kind of has a college vibe because it is in a renovated warehouse, but it is still very nice. I started with an IPA and a margarita. They were both very good. No complaints. I would certainly have them again. The fried pickles, french fries, and meatless tacos were surprisingly good. They were great flavored snacks to eat while you have drinks and talk with friends. On the other hand, the hamburger was devoid of any seasoning. I thought it was kind of strange for such a big miss. Even a little salt and pepper would go a long way. The hot wings were very hot, but they didn’t have much flavor. I really don’t like when people confuse hot with flavor. Toward the end of the gathering, I had the oatmeal latte and their blueberry pastry. Both of them were VERY good (perhaps a new guilty pleasure for me). So while I cannot put my stamp of approval on their meat products, they know how to work the hell out of vegetables and non-meat products. They seem like a very great option for vegetarians or those who are looking for meat alternatives. I will certainly be back. I will likely shy away from the wings and burgers, but I am sure I will walk away fully satisfied with the wide assortment of drinks and other food options. Last note: A special shout out to the wait staff and the gentleman who I can only assume is the manager. They seem to take great pride in ensuring the customers have a great time in their establishment. They were attentive and didn’t sweat the small stuff. Because of their great attitude and attentiveness, I certainly stayed longer and spent more than I was planning.
Hands down, the best brewery in the area. Absolutely love this place, and I recommend it to everyone I know. You can sit yourself, order and pay directly from the QR code on the table, and they bring it directly to you. Great outdoor seating, as well as a spot for an electric vehicle to plug in. At night they have overhead string/bulb lights that turn on, as well as giant chess and cornhole. Inside there is a fantastic theme with multiple floors. People who come here can range to college students studying on the second floor, family meet ups with the kids, morning coffee dates, to brunch/drinks. The staff is also very friendly. Keep up the great work!
