Impressive! I haven’t frequented this sushi spot in years; I used to come when I was kid. Now that I’m back in NoVa, I popped in. It’s still impeccably clean and speedy service. I came around 8pm on a Tuesday. Incredibly fresh fish and their miso soup is still on point. I ordered the Sushi Sashimi dinner with an order of futomaki and toro nigiri. I was in sushi heaven! What Pier 18 doesn't like about Arigato Sushi:
I had dinner here last night and the food was AMAZING! Some of the best sushi I ever had, however, my dining experience left a lot to be desired. The hostess/owner was pleasant but the servers were rude, pushy and dismissive. The restaurant was not crowded nor was it close to closing time but we were treated like our business was not wanted. Very good place and the food is very good. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. We had a lunch special Box D and was so good. We upgraded with the arigato soup and was perfect. To finish we ate Banana tempura ice cream and was good.Food: 5/5
I have been going to this place since they opened. We always just get sushi. Today, I got shrimp fried rice, with $5 extra shrimp. The dish had EXACTLY seven small shrimp with the tails on. The dish was dry and terrible. What a shock.I called and explained this and got a half-hearted oh, sorry which is not what I expect.I have sent 20+ people to this place. I will be boycotting them for one year.They could have refunded my purchase (I also bought $60 of sushi), but they did not.
I love the food is it worth the price? Yes if you want to feed yourself get the platter if you want something tasty everything taste good when you’re hungry but when you’re full you still taste good it’s worth it. I got the à la carte it’s definitely worth it.Food: 5/5
We had our dinner here tonight and it was very enjoyable. Timo is great he was very kind and helpful to us. I ate kimbap and my husband ate calamari and eel sushi. the food was delicious and very tasty. Definitely you should try ? Thanks again Timo ??Food: 5/5
UpdateBeen coming here for year's. Food is delicious. The owner and staff are friendly and nice. The ambiance is casual. I have not had anything that I did not enjoy from the menu.Always have had a wonderful experience. Food is always good. Friendly staff. Service is always excellent.
