amazing, as always. Spring menu is great, so many new items worth tasting. From the hunger steak to the caesar salad to the lamb osuboku service is amazing (as always) and the vibe just keep getting better. View all feedback.
What Barden doesn't like about Alta Strada Fairfax, Va:
Maybe it was the result of asking for a garlic-free chicken parm, but the entree turned out to be boring (without the expected tomato sauce). Our server was excellent and the manager tried hard to please us by preparing another chicken parm with tomato sauce to take home. Well, that tasted barely better than the in-restaurant version. I really appreciate the team and how they kept my water full throughout the service.
Was not too pleased with the service. Food was ok but the constant badgering by the waitstaff coming over every 5 seconds to refill water and basically push you out the door was not a fun experience.
Had to convince my friends to go again because of a long-ago disappointing Restaurant Week dinner. This time, we all loved the food, the generous portions, and the service. My favorite was the garlic bread, which came with a wonderful tomato dipping sauce on the side. Our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive, and the friendly manager lowered the music volume when we asked. Definitely a hit all around last night.

Love, love, love Alta Strada. Mosaic District. The food is yummy. Best of all is the attentive, polite staff. Even when they're super busy staff always are friendly and helpful.
