The food and atmosphere at this restaurant were fantastic. It was the perfect place for our get together. The food was delicious and there was a good selection of drinks. The sports theme, multiple screens, and free pool added to the fun atmosphere. The price per person was reasonable at £20-30. I would give the food, service, and atmosphere a rating of 5. I highly recommend trying the fries and Mac and Cheese.
This is a fantastic pub to catch a rugby game. The burgers are delicious, and the service and atmosphere both receive top marks with a rating of 5.

Jaz and her team were fantastic. Despite some confusion with our reservation, they were able to find us a table on their busiest night with calmness and ease. Natalie made sure our drinks kept flowing, even with a full bar. It's a great spot for watching a rugby game.
A group of us came to the Stand off to watch the football. The staff could not have been more welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble, and the landlord ? went out of his way to ensure we had the best view of the screen and attended to our table all night. The food was great and reasonably priced. I couldn’t recommend this pub more highly.
We went to a rugby match and was recommended this venue for some pre match food and drinks. I was concerned to see just one young lady waiting all the tables in this busy pub. I expected a long wait for service especially as our table was as far away from the bar as you could possibly get. How wrong could I be !!! We were led to our table and the drinks order taken. Within moments our drinks were with us. Every time our drinks were getting low we were asked if we needed a refill and a fresh drink arrived, just in time as we emptied our glass. One of our party loves Guinness and insisted it was the best pint he’d had outside Ireland. The food was decent pub food served with the same exceptional service. This was a masterclass in how standards and service should be. Friendly attentive staff with great food and beer.
I would highly recommend the roast at this place. Great service, fairly priced. The cauliflower cheese was beautiful, will definitely go again
We have been to the Stand Off many times. There is always lots of atmosphere and the staff are friendly and welcoming. We have tried the food at various times and different days of the week. It is always very good. The Sunday lunch is to die for but remember to book as it is very popular
