I was concerned to see just one young lady waiting all the tables in... read more We went to a rugby match and was recommended this venue for some pre match food and drinks. I was concerned to see just one young lady waiting all the tables in this busy pub. I expected a long wait for service especially as our table was as far away from the bar as you could possibly get. How wrong could I be !!! We were led to our table and the drinks order taken. Within moments our drinks were with us. Every time our drinks were getting low we were asked if we needed a refill and a fresh drink arrived, just in time as we emptied our glass. One of our party loves Guinness and insisted it was the best pint he’d had outside Ireland. The food was decent pub food served with the same exceptional service. This was a masterclass in how standards and service should be. Friendly attentive staff with great food and beer.
