There were plenty of options for... read more We decided to grab a bite to eat before heading to the orange elephant. We had a wonderful meal, both for us and for the kids. There were plenty of options for the little ones. I ordered the cheeseburger, which was served with chunky chips and coleslaw. Despite the restaurant being busy, our food arrived quickly after ordering. The kids had a great time playing on the outdoor climbing frame - a fantastic addition that kept them entertained. Overall, a great dining experience with good food and a welcoming atmosphere for families.

Our lunch was delightful, and we ended our visit with a drink in the garden. We will definitely be returning.

We chose it purely down to the large park area for the children but from start to finish we were given 5* serv... read more We visited this pub whilst on holiday from Wales. We chose it purely down to the large park area for the children but from start to finish we were given 5* service by the manager Maz (I think that’s her name) she was so accommodating to our needs and made a simple birthday meal so special. Going for meals can be particularly stressful with 3 busy children but this was not the case thanks to this lovely lady. The rest of the staff were also wonderful, we visit the area every year and will be returning.

Our meals were absolutely awful carvery was taste less no flavour and the choice of meat was of a poor quality and over cooked. The menu meals we ordered where not much better, definitely not homemade and fresh quality. Not once did the waiting staff come over and check all was okay with our meals. When drinks arrived at our table the tray was just plonked on the table and not given out. To add to this disappointing visit was while we were eating to see the kitchen team having a cigarette in the public garden before returning back to the kitchen to carry on cooking, not quite what should be expected and definitely in full view of people having meals. The children's play area needs alot of attention and maintenance and a good clean so this was not enjoyable for our little ones. The entrance is not much better needs a good clean up. Very disappointed will not be visiting again.
