We've been to the Globe a few times. Always a really nice atmosphere, interested and attentive staff and tasty unpretentious quality food. Definitely worth a visit.
Booked the Globe the night before a meeting and decided to bring my dog along for a mini adventure. I’m SO glad I booked this place the room (room 12) is one of the best rooms I’ve stayed in, let alone with my dog (which I’ve only ever done once before and it was a bit of a disaster). The room was tucked away and in a quiet area, so my dog didn’t bark once through the night. Room was well equipped (Dyson fan, good heating, comfy bed, Elmis bath goodies, coffee machine) and very comfortable. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. Food was great. They even gave Luna her own breakfast, a lovely touch! Parking is a bit of a nightmare, but worth it for such a good stay. We’ll be back. Today, two friends and I enjoyed lunch at the Globe. The staff were incredibly helpful and charming. The food was outstanding, especially the fish and chips. There was quite a long wait between placing our order and receiving our meals, but aside from that, everything was excellent. Service: 5, Location: 5.
Great spot right in the heart of Topsham. The service was good, and the lunch menu offered decent options. The food was reliable; while not exceptional, my chicken wrap was well-prepared, and it came with crisps and a salad. Overall, I’d rate the service 4 out of 5 and the location 4 out of 5 as well.
