Description

Tucked in Exeter, this independent, family-run café blends a freshly renovated, spacious interior with a welcoming, calm atmosphere. Generous, well-priced dishes and coffee, a licensed bar and a children's play area make it ideal for families, groups and solo visitors. However, experiences vary: diners report inconsistent food quality, occasional slow or brusque service and hygiene lapses. Management has shown responsiveness to complaints, but prospective guests should expect great value most of the time alongside some service unpredictability.

This is one of the few independent licensed café restaurants in Exeter. The place has been beautifully renovated and is suitable for both individuals and large groups. The customer service is excellent, making you feel truly welcome. If you're looking for a dining experience where you can enjoy high-quality food and drinks at affordable prices, I highly recommend paying a visit. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised!

The food here is outstanding, and the atmosphere is incredibly welcoming. It's refreshing to dine in a family-run café rather than a chain restaurant. I can't wait to return!

The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and there are plenty of options to choose from at reasonable prices. It's a perfect spot for lunch or just to enjoy a cup of coffee.

Had only one meal that included a cup of tea (or coffee) at a very reasonable price! Spacious and welcoming interior with children's playground. Very recommended.

A spacious cafe with a lovely little children's area, with books and toys. It feels a lot calmer and less clattery than the high street cafes. A lovely place to meet up and chat with friends, friends specially those with children. Friendly staff and good value meals.
