the ram, located in the guild hall, allows the students to go a safe place where they are quite guaranteed, with people from school or in their age, where they can go to hang and enjoy affordable drinks and eating. After reading the menu and seeing the 'VG ' symbol next to the jackfruit loaded mac and cheese I ordered this thinking it was vegan. When it arrived I was doubtful and asked the server if the cheese was indeed vegan, to which I was told 'Yes '. I didn 't trust this so barely touched my food. After reading the menu and seeing the 'VG ' symbol next to the jackfruit loaded mac and cheese I ordered this thinking it was vegan. When it arrived I was doubtful and asked the server if the cheese was indeed vegan, to which I was told 'Yes '. I didn 't trust this so barely touched my food. Upon returning the following week, I spoke to some staff members behind the bar who confirmed that the mac and cheese cannot be made vegan. So not only was the menu misleading, the waitress also gave me false information. Very disappointed indeed. There are other vegan options but these are extremely lacklustre. Honestly very disappointed.
My daughter and I visited whilst staying at the university, very friendly staff, food was very good..very nice burger, glass of wine acceptable..my daughter loved her meal..all was very good, close to our room within the Uni so suited us very well. Also gave my daughter an idea of what was available , should she attend this university, thank you
We had a really good time. The food was great. The chips were crisp. The atmosphere was fun and the price was right for a small family. Even though there were tons of students.
Great atmosphere. Known for it's curly fries which at times can be too hard over done. I like the place but my chicken wings to so hard that I could not eat them.
I was in a rush and decided to quickly get a meal, but I didn't have time to send it back (even though I should have). The chili was tepid and the fries had a strange taste. It wasn't a pleasant experience, but I was pressed for time and hadn't eaten all day. If I hadn't been in such a hurry, I would have definitely returned it.

I miss those curly fries!! Cosy and welcoming pub in the middle of campus. The food could be better but the beers are really good. Perfect after a debsoc Friday debate or a quick bite just before a campus cinema session. Great atmosphere.
