Spent a few hours hear as had time to kill, So got down work done over some lovely lunch as they had a deal on too. Had few drinks, and was out before dinner. Would come again
Great managament staff. A special mention for Sarah who is always so friendly and cheerful. Not the cheapest of places but they can't do anyhing about that. It is a Greene King hostelry and as such, is lumbered with their price structure. It is also in a very affluent area of Exeter. I have eaten here before and it's standard decent pub fare at a reasonable cost. Love the fact it still has a lounge and (sports) bar. One of few bars left in Exeter with Sky/Tnt etc. Nice old building with a good atmosphere.
Came in to watch the football and it was a really lovely atmosphere, not too crowded and staff were super lovely and attentive when bringing over food drinks. would highly recommend for families, groups of friends and uni students.
The food at this restaurant is typical Greene King fare. If you enjoy watching sports on TV, the sports bar here is decent. The main bar is primarily used for dining.
We visit this restaurant every week with a large group! The food is fantastic and the staff is outstanding! Thank you!
