Feedback
The restaurant has received mixed reviews, with some customers praising the delicious burgers and fries, while others found the prices to be too high for the quality. Many enjoyed the customizable options for burgers and the generous portion sizes of fries. The atmosphere was described as a mix between a fast-food joint and a casual dining restaurant. Customers were pleased with the attentive staff and the cleanliness of the place. Some highlights included the milkshakes and the fresh ingredients used in the food. Overall, opinions varied but the general consensus seems to be that Five Guys is a good place for a treat rather than a quick bite to eat.
Five Guys Cardiff has officially been open for two days! Of course it's launch meant I had the perfect excuse to set aside my dried mango and rice paper
Came here after a disappointing dinner that left my stomach still growling in discontent.
The first thing you notice when you walk into Five Guys in is the classic American diner decor.
We came for a celebrity meal after reading all great reviews and I'm glad we made it! We had a nice corner table opposite the rest of the restaurant. We had the cheese souffle and pig belly for starters (the pig bell was a very good part and both starters were very delicious! . Mains were a Ribeye Steak (which I was told was very good, then I had a flat iron steak and half a lobster. Desserts were a chocolate brownie sunflower and a chic cookie. All in all, a nice meal and service and I would go again.
The prices at this restaurant were a bit surprising. Two large bacon cheeseburgers, a large order of fries, and two bottles of beer came to a total of £36! However, the portion sizes were very generous. One large order of fries was more than enough for four people. We appreciated the friendly advice from the waitress to share between us. The double burger was huge and delicious. The fries were made from freshly cut local potatoes and were addictively tasty. We also enjoyed the Brooklyn Lager, which had a 5.2% alcohol content and cost £4.95. It appeared that peanuts were available for customers, but we didn't notice them. Overall, the service was fast, the food was tasty, and the experience was good.
