Contribute FeedbackThe Cote restaurant in Exeter offers a beautiful setting with views of the cathedral. While some diners may have experienced subpar service and declining food quality, others have praised the delicious dishes and friendly staff. Prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is generally pleasant. Some customers have reported issues with portion sizes and undercooked food, but overall, the restaurant seems to be a popular choice for many diners. With a mix of positive and negative feedback, Cote in Exeter appears to offer a decent dining experience worth considering.
Great location and relaxed atmosphere. helpful staff (including the chef who was friendly enough to replace an ingredient, I am allergic so that I could have my chosen dish.) eating was delicious, service good and the lunch menu was a good value for money. in any case would recommend.
I have eaten at several places, but this is great. a fantastic view of the cathedrale (drain over the Clarence building) and I was happy to get a window seat. the manager niall was fantastic and welcoming and natalia took care of me in the evening. excellent service and as usual great eating was the duck amazing, so tenderly the free kir royale was received by me well. in any case visit my next visit.
I found it to be a very busy place for lunch, but the staff did their best to serve within a reasonable time. the food was excellent and the staff was gracious. great experience
Was taken to the birthday here and it was excellent, personal was kindly attentive, but did not float over us. eating was excellent, the prices are reasonable and we never felt rushed to finish. we will definitely go back. reservations are best because they are quite understandable.
My partner took me to Côte for valentines as it’s my favourite restaurant. They didn’t disappoint either, amazing food, amazing service from our waitress Hannah and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended my me!
