Unfortunately, while bringing my 80-year-old mother to this restaurant, I don't think I can convince her of the value for money that Wetherspoons is known for.... read more Unfortunately, while bringing my 80-year-old mother to this restaurant, I don't think I can convince her of the value for money that Wetherspoons is known for. Since we are on a tight budget, we chose this restaurant because she wanted to treat me. We sat at three different tables, all of which were sticky and had food debris on them. The carpet was also sticky. When I went to the bar, I leaned over as the staff were chatting, hoping to get some service, but instead I ended up getting covered in beer. At that point, I decided that we should leave and eat somewhere else. I have worked in the industry for over 30 years and am not one to complain, but cleanliness is always a top priority for me.
