Despite our best efforts to be friendly and helpful, we were met with such a sour face when we placed our order. We were even slightly told off for placing such a large order! Not sure what we did wrong. Will go back because the bread is so good but please can you be nicer next time?

Not for me, sadly

Although the service has been inconsistent in the past, as mentioned by other reviewers, the staff have been very friendly and welcoming recently. I would definitely recommend stopping by to grab a fresh loaf of bread, a cardamom croissant, and a nice cup of coffee.

We had pastries and coffee sat outside on a bench watching the world go by on a lovely sunny morning. The bread looked delicious too as did the other savoury items on offer. Friendly member of staff who served us and great prices. A hidden gem!
